Could BBC6 Music have gotten it any more wrong than this?
George Lamb of BBC Radio 6Music is arguably the worst Radio Presenter ever! His ability to spout complete nonsense whilst trying to sound original and intelligent would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. He really is quite a blot on the landscape of probably the best UK Music based Radio station.
Surrounded by a bunch of sycophantic goons he reminds you of the worst of radio DJ's and relies on them to correct him when wrong, which is often.
I don't think there has ever been a dj that has sparked such debate. It's obvious that he does have an audience, but is it really a 6music audience? It's been said that his placement was to attract 'female listeners', well I think his main success has been to attract morons and imbeciles and as many women as men are offended by his presence on what was the greatest music station.

- he stutters
- he gets things wrong far too often
- he pretends to be clever, but then comes a cropper
- he's annoying
- he's absolutely useless!

- His fake cockney or 'mockney' accent is makes him sound a complete tool for one educated in such a posh school as St. Christopher's
- He's a useless interviewer
- He doesn't play enough music, when he does play some he ruins it by either talking over it or using some stupid sound effect.

George lamb is a top guy, great banter, they all have an infectious laugh that you can help laughing with them, and you get the feeling they dont care, which is great, not too earnest, completely inane, not rude to phone in listeners just general mickey taking and good times. What the hell more do you want! The people that are getting completely wound up, need to get on with some graft and quit paying so much attention to the radio waves. Perfect morning radio. George lambe is something i look forward to every day. During the day listeneing to his show is like watching a comedy show. whilst at work. what more do i need? I'll listen to music at home. That john holmes is an idiot n all. I'm at work for george lamb and can't listen generally, but the quality of the few shows ive listened to in recent weeks (i dunno, maybe the quality's upped a bit of late) has absolutely eclipsed that of those two broadcasters. As someone else said, there seemed to be a decent selection of live tunes as well as some proper 80s hip hop. Lay off him.

i utterly abhor the people who've jumped on this bandwagon. problems with 6 music run far deeper than george lamb (who, by the by, is one of the few actual bearable personalities left, not some squealing idiot like nemone). getting adam and joe on was a masterstroke, so was george lamb. Shaun keaveny was alright on dream ticket, as was nemone, but i don't think either should've been given a day time slot. Gideon suits the nighttime much better. As for that tosser Chris Hawkins however...

The fact that people who like and support him are comparing him to Moyles says it all really. I listen to 6music because I hate Radio1 with a passion, especially Moyles. The presenter should be second place to the music and even if the dj does "put you on it", they shouldn't let you know every god damn 5 seconds. He has also attracted some right wankers listening to the station now which means songs I used to like have been hijacked by idiots. Bad move 6music, if the station manager would stop worrying about bloody ratings and listen to the dedicated followers of 6music who like presenters like lammo, nemone, stuart mcconie, gideon, jon holmes, andrew collins etc for their genuine charisma and appeal. Lamb is a fad and hopefully will say his last shabba very soon. . .

I say the campaign should shift it's sights towards clueless 6music boss Lesley Douglas instead, who is ultimately responsible for this abortion's presence contaminating the airwaves.
